What ages of children do you accept?
Our daycare welcomes children from 24 months to 5 years.
How do you handle emergencies?
In case of an emergency, we follow a detailed protocol which includes calling 911 and contacting parents.
What are your operating hours?
We are open from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
What is your sick child policy?
Children with contagious conditions or certain illnesses are requested to stay home to keep everyone healthy.
What is your discipline policy?
We use positive reinforcement and redirecting techniques. Behavior expectations can be found here.
Do you provide meals and snacks?
Yes, we provide nutritious meals and snacks. This includes breakfast, morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack.
What is your policy on potty training?
We support and work with parents during potty training with strategies that include reward and praise, scheduled potty time, combined with patience, consistency, and encouragement.
Can parents visit during daycare hours?
Yes, parents are welcome to visit anytime.
What are your fees and payment policies?
Payment Terms: Can pay weekly; must prepay for care one week in advance. Payment due on Friday the week before care.
Late Payment Policy: $25 each day late.
Additional Fees: Late pick-up fee $1 a minute after 20 minutes late.
Do you have a curriculum or educational focus?
Our program focuses on a holistic approach to education, focusing on the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of each child. Our philosophy is centered around play-based learning, where children learn through exploration, creativity, and hands-on experiences.
What are your qualifications?
All staff at Robin’s Nest are certified in Pediatric First Aid, CPR, AED, Preventative Health and Safety courses, and all are fingerprinted by the DOJ, FBI, and CACI.
How do you communicate with parents?
We use daily reports and meetings to keep parents informed about their child’s day and development.
What is your enrollment process?
The enrollment process includes a tour application, orientation, and required paperwork.
